FAQ
I am a medical doctor licensed in Illinois and Pennsylvania. I am board-certified in diagnostic and interventional radiology. I am additionally certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA). I am currently employed full-time by the University of Pittsburgh Physician group at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in Radiology. I spend more than 75% of my professional time in active clinical practice and/or teaching of medicine.
I specialize in radiology and image-guided procedures that has cross-over to other specialties and will issue medicolegal findings and clinical standards by report, consultation and testimony. Otherwise, see Medical Expert Witness Services below.
I am an experienced diagnostic and interventional radiology expert witness that has opined on the standards of care, evaluated cases for merit, performed blind reviews, provided second opinions, deposed and gave in court testimony on diagnostic radiology cases and/or interventional cases for plaintiff and defense attorneys since 2020. I communicate well to non-medical people about medical events/findings and more often than not, am found likeable by people.
No. There are no active or pending legal cases in which I am named. I have not had any licenses or hospital privileges revoked. I have never been sanctioned professionally. I have no felony convictions.
